Ensuring the toolroom & development operations run smoothly in terms of safety, target work, quality & cost saving.
Managing the toolroom & development process during their shift including supervision of operator, toolroom & development process.
Achieving daily toolroom & development targets & quantity targets.
Inspect tools and carry out cleaning and regular maintenance.
Arranging for the handover of installation and repair to maintenance of machine according to plan.
Coordination with maintenance department for regular & PM activities.
Ensuring that toolroom & development and process data are compiled.
Authorizing purchase request, monitoring consumption of consumables and utilities.
Evaluating non-compliance incidents in the process and identifying corrective and preventive action.
On site training for new operators and old operators or if new process is being implemented.
Co-ordinate with core making supervisors.
Adherence of EHS, IATF 16949 / ISO systems.
Responsible to prepare the WI, SOP’s and to display.
Responsible for all audit compliance and customers audit.
Responsible for proper and regular entry in system / ERP.
Involvement and engagement in continuous improvement / Lean project (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, TPM etc.)
Qualification –
Diploma / Degree in related field.
Have hand on 5 or more years’ experience in Foundry environment.
